This rural property, located just outside of Barriere, BC was a complete design overhaul from the inside out. The plans included a new master suite and living room addition to an existing log home. The logs were transformed from dark and heavy to light and airy with beautiful white wash paint. White washed cedar ceilings and reclaimed woods are featured throughout the home and provide a cozy backdrop for the transitional materials and furnishings. The material palette was chosen to be neutral with tone and tone and layers of textural elements; creating a unique and cozy interior suitable for the forest setting.
